Continuous Filament Winding Resin
LC-1096

High-reactivity unsaturated polyester resin engineered for continuous filament winding and centrifugal casting of GRP pipes. Delivers rapid cure, exceptional mechanical strength, and consistent quality in high-volume pipe production.

Engineered for High-Speed Pipe Production

LC-1096 is a fast-curing unsaturated polyester resin specifically formulated for the continuous winding process used to manufacture fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GRP) pipes. This high-reactivity system enables rapid production cycles while ensuring complete fiber impregnation and uniform wall thickness. The resin's optimized viscosity (450-550 mPa·s) provides excellent glass fiber wet-out, while its controlled gel time (5-8 minutes) allows for consistent winding before cure initiation. The resulting pipes exhibit high hoop strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and long-term durability for water, sewage, and industrial fluid transport applications.
