Usage Guidelines
Curing System
LC-1930 is pre-accelerated and requires only the addition of MEKP (methyl ethyl ketone peroxide) catalyst for curing. The pre-thixotropic properties eliminate the need for additional thixotropic agents.
Recommended Catalyst:
MEKP: 1.0-2.0% by weight depending on temperature and desired gel time
Application Method
Suitable for hand lay-up, spray-up, and contact molding processes. Excellent for vertical and overhead applications due to thixotropic properties.
Storage Conditions
- • Store in cool, dry place (15-25°C)
- • Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight
- • Ensure containers are tightly sealed
- • Storage life: 3 months (uninitiated, dark place, 20°C) at 20°C
- • Avoid freezing temperatures
Safety Precautions
- • Use in well-ventilated areas
- • Wear appropriate protective equipment
- • Avoid skin and eye contact
- • Keep away from ignition sources
